Hairy Owl's Clover (Castilleja tenuis) is an elegant wildflower that grows in the dry hills of Northern California and Oregon. Featuring thin, toothless leaves and clusters of creamy flowers, the stems of this species grow about 2 feet tall and are covered in tiny hairs - hence its name.
