Water your Coneflower once a week, making sure to keep the soil moist but not soggy. Use approximately 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week. Water your Coneflower deeply—enough to moisten the entire root system. For best results, water in the early morning or late evening, so you minimize water loss due to evaporation.

Coneflower (Echinacea 'Mac 'n' Cheese') requires full sun for at least 6-8 hours each day in order to thrive. If it does not get enough sunlight, it will become leggy and eventually die. Ideally, the plant should be placed in a spot where it will receive direct sunlight in the morning and early afternoon, avoiding the stronger afternoon sun. Light pruning throughout the growing season will keep the coneflower blooming continuously.
