When watering your begonia, it is important to provide plenty of water and ensure the soil does not dry out completely. Water your begonia every 3-4 days in summer, or once a week in winter or if the soil is very dry. Aim to saturate the soil but avoid excess moisture or waterlogging, as this can cause the root rot. When adding water to the soil, make sure to water the base of the plant and avoid wetting the leaves, as this can encourage fungal diseases.

Begonias require indirect, filtered sunlight, which means that the sun should be shining through a curtain or window. Plants located near an eastern- or western-facing window will receive the best light. Avoid direct midday sun, as this can scorch the leaves.
