Clematis (Clematis 'Evipo032' GALORE) should be watered deeply and regularly during the growing season, from spring through fall. Water it slowly and thoroughly until the soil is completely saturated and water begins to run out of the bottom of the pot. Do not allow the soil to become too dry or over saturated. During warmer months, water 2 to 3 times a week and once a week in cooler months. Aim for approximately 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week, depending on the soil type and amount of sun the plant is receiving. Additionally, if temperatures are exceeding 80°F (27°C) in the summer, water the plant every day.

Clematis 'Evipo032' GALORE plants require at least 4-5 hours of direct sunlight each day. Sunlight of morning and evening, or indirect sunlight during the day, is necessary to ensure plentiful blooms during the summer months. This particular species of Clematis is a vining shrub, which is especially sensitive to the angle of the sun. As such, the area where it is planted should have easy access to direct morning and evening sunlight in order for the vines to stretch and secure themselves to a vertical structure. In general, for best flowering and growth, plant in an area which receives full sun through to mid-afternoon, when the sun is moving towards the western sky.

Clematis 'Evipo032' GALORE should be pruned in late winter or early spring as soon as the danger of frost has passed and the dormant season has ended. Pruning should be minimal, and primarily focused on removing dead, diseased or otherwise damaged wood. This will encourage the new, strong growth and flowering. The cuts should be made just above the leaf bud, removing about 1/3 to 2/3 of the stems. Allowing the plant to become overgrown can limit flowering, so it is important to regularly prune it.
